Three steps from idea to finished infographic. No design skills required.
Describe What You Need
Write a prompt describing your infographic: the topic, the audience, any specific layout or style you want. You can also attach a data file (CSV, JSON, Excel) and up to 4 reference images to guide the look and feel.
AI Does the Heavy Lifting
Nanograph's AI reads your data, studies your reference images, and builds a rich, detailed infographic with real numbers, clear hierarchy, and polished design. No templates to fill in, no dragging boxes around.
Download and Share
Your infographic is ready in seconds. Download it in high resolution, copy the link to share, or head to your dashboard to find it later. Every generation is saved to your account automatically.
Tips for Better Infographic Prompts
Be Specific About Layout
Instead of "make an infographic," say "a vertical timeline with 5 steps, icons on the left, paragraphs on the right." Spatial detail gets better results.
Include Real Numbers
Upload a CSV or paste exact figures. "Revenue grew 42% YoY" beats "revenue grew significantly." Real data makes your infographic credible.
Name Your Audience
"For a C-suite quarterly review" vs. "for an Instagram carousel aimed at college students." Audience context shapes tone and complexity.
Use Reference Images
Upload up to 4 reference images. The AI analyzes colors, layout, and typography, then applies those cues to your infographic.
Pick the Right Aspect Ratio
Tall (9:16) for stories. Portrait (3:4) for posters. Square (1:1) for feed posts. Landscape (4:3) for slides. Wide (16:9) for presentations and blog headers.
Iterate and Refine
Your first generation is a starting point. Tweak the prompt based on what you see and re-generate until it's right.

Frequently Asked Questions
What file formats can I upload as a data source?
Nanograph accepts CSV, JSON, and XLSX (Excel) files up to 5 MB. The AI will parse and summarize your data automatically, extracting key statistics and trends to incorporate into the infographic.
How do reference images work?
You can upload up to 4 reference images (PNG, JPG, or WebP, 10 MB each). The AI analyzes their visual style (colors, layout, typography) and uses those cues to guide the look and feel of your generated infographic.
What resolutions are available?
Three tiers: HD (1080p), 2K (1440p), and 4K (2160p). Higher resolutions produce sharper images suitable for print and large displays. HD is the default and works great for web and social media.
How long does generation take?
Most infographics are ready in 10-30 seconds. Complex prompts with large data files and multiple reference images may take slightly longer as the AI pipeline has more context to process.
Can I edit the infographic after generation?
Yes! Nanograph is building in-app editing tools including regional editing (fix just one area), text correction, and SVG vectorization for crisp print output. Generated images can also be downloaded and edited in any design tool.
Is my data secure?
All uploads are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). Your data files and generated images are private to your account and are never used to train AI models.
